our story

Let me introduce myself. I’m your host – Karen.

My husband Paul and I are custodians of the beautiful little cottage known as Stoneleigh.

Our Barossa journey came about when we relocated from Townsville to be closer to my husbands’ family in Adelaide.

We purchased Stoneleigh Cottage Bed and Breakfast in 2015. We were very excited about the opportunities that owning a heritage listed house could provide us. The house itself was built around 1910 and formed part of a larger Estate in Angaston.

The township of Angaston is one of South Australia’s oldest towns and still retains most of its original buildings.

Having lived in Queensland all my life, it has been a really wonderful to experience the changing of the seasons in South Australia.

We live on a property about 15 minutes from Angaston, which we share with our two dogs and three goats.

To help you plan your holiday with us we have set out on the website a BAROSSA PAGE with loads of our favourite things to do, places to eat, tours and more. If you have any queries though on planning your time with us, please do ask me any questions. We want to make your stay, comfortable, relaxing and an experience you will remember for many years to come.

We look forward to your stay.
